Shady Clearing

Indeed. I slept until 4pm, got up, and proceeded to play Lunia all day. Yeah, that’s really interesting.

I suppose it’s no big deal though…I mean, it WAS my day off, and it was in the middle of the week when no one is really doing anything anyhow. Although Harold didn’t call me back like he was supposed to, he did ask if I’d like to come along Saturday evening with him and some friends to just do whatever. I think I will all things considered…I really need to get out of the house more anyway.

One thing I’m dead set on doing this autumn is going to Garden of the Gods in Shawnee National Forest. It’s just so pretty during that time of the year when the leaves are changing colors and I really enjoy a good adventure in the forest. I think I might do it sometime in October, since it’ll be cooler and even prettier.

As for my targets for improved learning in web design and coding, I think I’m going to start playing around with AJAX. It’s looking to be a fairly simple to learn bit of functionality, and I think it’ll be able to make some sites I work on faster and more user-friendly. But, knowing how I am, it’s only about a 50/50 chance that I’ll actually go after the knowledge of how it works within the next month. Only time will tell, I suppose.

I think that’s about it for today. Nothing to really stimulate the thinker, but at least it’s something. Ta~

Well, it would seem that I just can’t bring myself to let this domain just sit, so here I am again, with a new design that’s actually decent, and a new resolve to actually BLOG as I should.  I’ve found in the past that writing some things down on a daily basis makes it easier to keep things organized mentally, and I doubt that fact has changed any in the time I’ve been neglecting my site.

That said,  it is my promise that I will have something posted here every day, not only for my own benefit but also for the reading pleasure of anyone that may stumble upon this archaic domain that is Shady Clearing.
